and selling wonderful apples is our specialty!
Offering an abundant variety of the northeast's
bountiful fruits. Fugi, Northern
Spy,
Honey Crisp, Gala, Empire, Cortland, Red Delicious,
and the local favorite that never fails,
Macintosh. In the Gift Shop located next
to
the year round apple warehouse, Gunnisons also has a
special refrigeration room that can keep apples at their
freshest for months. The bakery is also another
wonderful attribute to the orchard. After taking a day
with your family through the orchard picking apples,
stop in and have their amazing fresh cider and try a
fresh baked pie made that morning. The bakery also has
homemade cider doughnuts made daily (cinnamon
sugar is a favorite). The Gift Shop has
adirondack decor, local consignment crafts, and
an assortment of honey and maple syrup products.
This is a must see! Open late spring until
Christmas with gifts, apple products, maple
syrup and honey. Storage open until mid June
for apples. |

museum portrays the industrial history of Ticonderoga
and surrounding areas including paper making, graphite
mining, Dixon Pencil and the impact of the industrial
development on the town and its people. The Museum gift
shop showcases local artists and crafters. Children's
and adult workshops are scheduled throughout the summer.
Museum hours: 10:00AM
to 4:00PM. Weekends Memorial Day to
June 24th. Daily June 25th to Labor Day and
weekends
